The corona crisis accelerated the transformation of the functioning of offices - they changed from spaces intended for focused individual work to open areas that are a prerequisite for collaboration and personal interactions. The increasingly popular form of working from home has also accelerated the trend of downsizing spaces, the goal of which is to use them more efficiently, but also to reduce costs for companies. The new office concept of the pharmaceutical company Servier, which was planned by the employees themselves together with the architect Kateřina Štenclová from the Colliers company, also talks about how to properly use every square meter of the work area.
The Czech investment group Enern and the American company Lincoln Property Company, which operates on the European market, including Slovakia, have started the construction of a new office project in the capital of Poland. The current owners purchased The FORM project in 2021 from Penta Real Estate. Its financing also includes recently issued bonds worth 30 million euros with an annual coupon of six and a half percent, whose manager and arranger is J&T Banka. These bonds are listed and traded on the Bratislava Stock Exchange.
One of the most famous buildings in the modern history of Bratislava – the Brouk aBabka building, later the Dunaj department store, will undergo a sensitive but necessary reconstruction. Together with its twin, Dom odievania, they will become the old and new landmark of Námestia SNP in Bratislava. Buildings, which connect various historical and human stories, will be brought back to life by the CTP company, which informs in a press release.
In addition to the largest shopping center in Bratislava and the first skyscraper in Slovakia, JTRE’s fast-growing Eurovea City waterfront district also includes two modern office buildings, Pribinova 34 and Pribinova 40. An exceptional location with numerous amenities along the popular Danube promenade near the city centre makes this a very attractive destination for new office space.
The Soviet-influenced city of the future - this is the epithet earned by the capital of Slovakia from the American CNN Travel. The author of the article concluded that the architecture of individual parts of the city is in sharp contrast to each other.
As an example, he cited the historic center from the classic Habsburg era and, on the other hand, modern high-rise buildings. However, the modernization of the city still does not end. On the contrary, developers are preparing projects that will change the face of Bratislava.
New Lido and five thousand new apartments

The building, inspired by a former steam mill, will bring new energy to the tenants' plans, but will also become an accelerator of their healthy lifestyle. The Mill will be accessible by bike as easily as on foot or by car.
The skyline of Bratislava and its center will soon be complemented by another skyscraper. The multifunctional Ister Tower complex will be built by the investment group DRFG in cooperation with the local developer The Galata Group (TGG).
