The modern bus station, shopping center, year-round city market and publicly accessible green roof with leisure activities are officially available to Bratislava residents and visitors from Thursday (September 30). Developer HB Reavis has brought a new combination of services and inspiring public space to the growing modern part of Bratislava.
The demands of the mayor of Bratislava's New Town, Rudolf Kusý, for the project of the New Istropolis at Trnava Mýto, which is to include a multifunctional cultural and congress center, are disproportionate and unrealistic.
The daily capacity of the new bus station in the Niva complex in Bratislava, which will open to the public on Thursday (September 30), is 20,000 passengers and 1,100 connections. However, the maximum capacity of the terminal can be up to five times greater. This was announced on Tuesday by the CEO of the bus operator Slovak Lines, Pavol Labant. This company will manage the station for the next 40 years.
In the last year, an administrative and commercial building was added in the northern part of the central city zone of Košice. As part of the thickening of the development, it filled the empty space between Továrenská and Hviezdoslavova streets. Due to its processing and layout, the building even met the strict conditions for the award of the LEED Gold certificate.
The multifunctional building Tabáň is a new residential project in Nitra and at the same time the largest residential complex in the center of this regional town. The multifunction with seven above-ground and two underground floors brought to the market a total of 264 new flats and apartments, 28 retail spaces and 359 parking spaces on two underground floors.
The construction of the Obchodná administrative building began in the Vlčince district of Žilina on Wednesday. After its completion, more than 13,000 square meters (m2) of leasable areas and more than 500 parking spaces in the underground garage and parking house will be created. It should be completed in the second quarter of 2023, the cost of construction will reach 18 million euros.
